May 3, 2010

February 18, 2010, a plane flew into the Echelon Building in Austin, Texas. On February 19, the IRS Service Center in South Austin had what some employees believed to be secret service agents and other feds on ground. While I saw people I did not know prowling the grounds, I did not confirm their identity, nor did I speak to them. One of the top IRS executives discussed the situation with the South Austin Service Center employees. The incident was continually referred to as an accident until one employee became upset and demanded that it not be called an accident. The executive also referred to 'fringe groups' in direct relation to the incident.

The following Monday, IRS employees in the South Austin Service Center were told that Echelon employees would be working out of that building. No Echelon employee was to be approached or talked to. The Echelon employees met with Tim Geithner and Doug Shulman and others. The contents of the meeting were not released, nor have I heard any rumors about what was discussed. Everyone involved seems to be silent on the subject. I was even told not to enter the hallway during certain hours so the Echelon employees could be escorted into the cafeteria without anyone talking to them.

The following two weeks were filled with a cleverly disguised attitude of 'them against us' in all communication from top IRS executives to all employees. I overheard discussions about the incident and how people were terrified that the South Austin Service Center would be the next target.

What people don't know is that one IRS employee in the Murrah building in Oklahoma City and in Echelon survived both attacks. This individual approached me and talked with me in the smoker's courtyard. What follows is the discussion I had with this person.

Source: Hi. Do you have a light?

Free Thought: Sure. Here.

S: Someone told me you listen to Alex Jones.

FT: Yeah.

S: Can I talk to you for a minute?

FT: Okay. About?

S: Well, I don't know who I can talk to really.

FT: What's it about?

S: Look. I'm a little spooked and I don't know who I can talk to.

FT: Spooked? About what?

S: Has TIGTA (Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration) ever talked to you about listening to Alex Jones?

FT: No. Why?

S: (A minute pause.) I survived the Oklahoma City bombing. I also worked in the Echelon building.

FT: You were in both buildings?

S: Yeah.

FT: That must have sucked.

S: It did. I just have to talk to someone about this and I'm spooked.

FT: What's going on?

S: I don't want my name out there. I really don't.

FT: You haven't told me your name.

S: I know.

FT: What happened?

S: Oklahoma City had not one but two bombs going off. Right?

FT: Right.

S: I made myself believe there was no government involvement in it. I didn't want to believe it. I really didn't, but after Echelon, I just can't ignore it anymore.

FT: What happened with Echelon?

S: You'd think a plane flying into a building would sound different than a bomb, but they sounded exactly the same.

FT: You're kidding, right?

S: No. (about a minute pause) There was no difference. (Another minute later) I can't have my name out there.

FT: People need to know about this.

S: I can't have my name out there.

FT: You know I listen to Alex Jones.

S: I know.

FT: I want to report this.

S: I know. Do what you have to. Leave me out of it.

FT: Can I put a transcript of our chat on Free Thought?

S: What's that?

FT: My web site.

S: Yeah, just leave my name out of it.

At this point, my source left and I was left with more questions than I had answers for. The key bit of information was the comment of how the two events sounded exactly the same.

The entire time I was talking with my source, the individual was acting paranoid, constantly glancing around and shaking.

I will keep up on this and see if I can't get this person to agree to an interview with Alex Jones about the issue.

UPDATE: May 4, 2010

I spoke with my source a second time this morning. The individual refused to agree to any kind of interview outside of what had already been said. Again, I got agreement to putting this on Free Thought. Why my source would allow this here and not talk to Infowars is beyond me. I wish I knew. I realize that I've no credibility out there, but, for what it's worth, here it is.

FT: Can we talk?

S: Uhh, okay.

FT: Outside.

S: Right.

FT: The people at Infowars really want to talk to you.

S: I can't.

FT: They won't ever know who you are. They don't even have to see you. Just talk to you with a voice changer.

S: I can't.

FT: Your identity will be safe.

S: I can't.

FT: Why not?

S: I just can't.

FT: Why can't you?

S: Please, just drop it. I've already told you all I can. I can't do anything else.

FT: Is it okay if I put this up on Free Thought?

S: Where?

FT: My web site. I mentioned it yesterday.

S: Oh. (Pause) Yeah. That's fine, I guess.

FT: Okay.

S: Sorry. I just can't do this again.

Again, my source was extremely nervous. This individual kept looking around like someone was going to jump out of the shadows.

Something had occurred both days that I had ignored as normal yesterday. Today, I'm not so sure. Yesterday during my talk with my source, I saw the same individual passing by inside the building five times looking out into the courtyard. The courtyard is along a walk path, so I assumed this person was just walking on break. However, today, I saw the same person again three times before my source went back inside. Now, this may mean nothing. It may mean everything. At this point, I'm going to honor my source's desire to be left alone for now.
